Open Doors Chris' Journal, July 2, 1998 I am constantly amazed at the warmth and compassion we are being shown from people along our trip. We have friends and strangers offering advice, sharing their stories and their lives, and opening their homes to us to give us a place to stay. Our Quest, of course, would be nothing if it weren't for the kindness of the people allowing us to interview them, or pointing us in the right direction toward meeting someone. And the road would be a much lonelier place without the friendly faces, both new and familiar, that greet us at open doors and welcome us into their city, home, and lives.
