WHAT IS QUEST- 4?

Quest-4 is a project designed to inspire people to take action in their lives to reach their highest potential. The interactive Quest-4 experience poses questions on the meaning of success, happiness, and personal greatness and offers insights into how these can be achieved in daily life.

The Quest-4 team is traveling across America interviewing successful individuals from different walks of life, and building an online community. This provides insight, inspirations, and resources to encourage people to explore their own definitions of success, seek out their own path, and take steps to realize their dreams.

WHY WAS QUEST- 4 CREATED?

Founded by Chris Moeller and Brian Ardinger, Quest-4 was created as a means of helping people discover their path to personal greatness while providing the insights and inspirations to help them follow it. Quest-4 came about because of the their desire to discover and share the elements of successful living and to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others.

WHY THE CROSS COUNTRY JOURNEY?

While success may be internally conceived, it would be naive to think that we all can completely avoid the influences of society that surrounds us. What our family and friends think, what the media portrays the perfect life to be, what our environment and surroundings offer all lend a hand in shaping our ideas of success.

Since these external factors have such an impact on our ideas of successful living, we are making the trip across the country to see how different the views of each geographical area are. We hope to show that different viewpoints and lifestyles can be supported in different areas. Perhaps the type of lifestyle someone may dream about in New York City can be had with a simple move out west, or vice versa. Perhaps your view of what successful living is may seem crazy where you live, but may be perfectly normal elsewhere in the country. With the trip we will explore regional differences and their effect on perceptions and ideas of success.

WHO WILL QUEST- 4 INTERVIEW?

The Quest-4 team plans to interview people from all types of professions and lifestyles. Ideally they are searching for people who are doing what they love and loving what they do.

Quest-4 is not only about "success stories" as typically defined by societal norms, but more about success of a personal nature. A person can feel successful and be satisfied with the life they lead without being examples of the "successful individual" we are shown by the media and public opinion. This is not a quest to teach "how to make a million in a month,"; it is a quest to show people living happy, satisfying, balanced lives.

The presentation of these interviews will hopefully touch others and inspire them toward following their own path. By reading about an individual in a certain occupation, you may become interested in finding out more about that occupation and whether it would be right for you. Maybe you will read about someone who has faced similar decisions or situations as you are facing now and find some comfort and support from knowing you are not alone. The hope is that the interviews will at least open people's eyes to the infinite possibilities.

WHO IS QUEST- 4'S AUDIENCE?

Everyone and anyone interested in learning about success, happiness, and personal greatness. The subjects being explored are universal. The idea of successful living spans all generations, cultures, and geographical boundaries.

Having said that, it should be noted that most of the writing is directed toward the 20-35 year old age group since this is the perspective of most of the Quest-4 team. This is not to say that anyone older or younger would be excluded, its just that Quest-4 would like to motivate and encourage people to take full advantage of life's opportunities as early as possible.

This group has finished most of its formal education and has had the opportunity to begin a career path. They are faced with decisions on continuing careers, having families, and starting down their life's path. Big decisions come during these years and big changes. And as this group tends to be Internet savvy, Quest-4 has chosen to present its findings first on the world wide web so as to reach the broadest audience in the quickest, most efficient manner.
